Just like with football, before the season begins we must participate in a stressful week of hardcore training. 60 hours of class before I leave...that's what happens when you try and cram two 400 level classes into one week, I guess. But I can get through this. Yesterday wasn't so bad, just really long. And then I had a cleaning check to finish, so I didn't get to bed until 2 am. (Just preparing myself for the trip!) Haha anyways I am learning a lot. Yesterday we talked about different negotiation tactics between countries. Every nationality is so different in the way they approach business, and there really is a lot of work involved to come up with a good deal for both parties. For instance, it would be really interesting to see a Japanese man and a French man negotiate. The French are very aggressive, use a lot of threats, and interrupt a lot, while the Japanese are very calm, consider each alternative, and are very polite. The Americans are somewhere in between :)
We also got our trip itineraries! Did I mention that I'll be going to Disneyland Paris for free? And taking a party bus through Europe? And going to church in India? We're also going to have a lot more free time than I originally thought, so I have to think of some good places to go in each country. Let me know of your ideas!
Also, packing stinks. I have so much stuff I want to bring but only 50 pounds to do it in. And I want to leave room for souvenirs :). Should be an interesting next few days...
